Claiming the title as The Music Dealers’ solo female DJ, Nikoleta’s artistry shines through her passion for music and polished taste. A second generation from Greece, the artist takes pieces from her European descent, East Coast upbringing, and West Coast devotion to influence her beats on the dancefloor. Inspired by the sounds of Michael Bibi, Claptone, and Solomun, Nikoleta creates an atmosphere of the most tasteful sounds of house and techno.
Nikoleta’s curiosity with anything and everything music eventually led her on the path to become a DJ-producer. As someone who always gravitated towards mashups growing up, she focused on teaching herself how to mix, alongside dabbling in production after acquiring a keyboard and Ableton.
After moving to San Diego in 2015, Nikoleta found herself quickly gravitating towards the city’s flourishing house scene. Swiftly recognized as an artist with potential, she’s performed at some of San Diego’s most renowned music arenas, including Bang Bang, Parq, Pool House, Techo Beso, and Zama, as well as internationally in Santa Catarina, Brazil. The self-taught artist’s motivated work ethic is reflected by her numerous bookings ranging from 1-4 hour sets.
Nikoleta is looking to push her career to the next level as she works with veteran producer Matthew (MJ) Hall on her first release. With the goal set to find her signature sound, she’s painting a new chapter in her canvas – and the story is just beginning.
